Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park™ at Daddy Joe’s is a privately owned camping resort. We are not a primary residence facility. Entrance onto the campground property constitutes permission to Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ to photograph and/or video the visitor while on the premises, and to use any resulting pictures and/or video for any lawful purpose without payment to a visitor.

FAQs

We are so excited that you will be spending your vacation with us! We encourage you to download the Jellystone Park™ App. Once you have it downloaded you can select our location to find all the information you need at your fingertips. Be sure to pack your bicycles to ride on our paved roads and bike track. If you are renting a cabin or yurt don't forget to pack linens. Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park™ at Daddy Joe's would love to help you make your reservation. Please read our cancellation policy and understand it fully before booking your site.

  • To make a reservation please click here or contact us at 877-668-8586.
  • Reservations require a one-night deposit. The remainder of the balance must be paid in full no less than 14-days in advance of your check-in date. Unpaid balances after the 14-day mark will be charged to the card on file.
  • Reservations require a 2-night minimum except summer (June 6-Aug. 10, 2024) and holiday reservations which require a 3-night minimum. Holidays include Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. 
  • Reservations made within 14-days of the arrival date can have a 2-night minimum during the summer season.
  • All sites are based on a family of 6 people and 2 vehicles. 
  • Maximum number of guests per site is 8. 
  • Additional site guest fees; 0-3 years free; 4 & older $15 per person per night (8 max. per site).
  • Check in for RV & Tent sites is 2 PM and for Rentals it is 3 PM.
  • Check out for RV & Tent sites is 12:00 PM and for Rentals it is 11:00 AM.
  • Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express may be used to secure your reservation. A one-night deposit will be processed at the time the reservation is made. 
  • A credit card is required to be kept on file for all reservations no matter what form of payment was used.
  • We schedule team members and plan activities based on reservations. Understand that we cannot be held responsible for weather, illness, work schedules, or other situations affecting our guests and therefore, enforce our cancellation policy regardless of circumstances.

  • Cancellations made seven (7) or more days prior to arrival date, excluding the arrival date, will result in a $25 administrative
    fee for a tent site, RV site and golf cart & $50 administrative fee for Golden Getaway sites, cabins, yurts.
  • Cancellations made less than seven (7) days prior to arrival date, excluding the arrival date, will result in loss of two (2) nights, three (3) nights on a holiday. (Includes golf carts.)
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of arrival date (2pm for tent and RV sites and 3pm on rentals) will result in loss of entire stay. (Includes golf carts.)

All refunds will be refunded by the payment method used when the deposit was made.

Camping is an outdoor experience. Therefore, we do not give refunds due to the discomforts of nature, illness, or work schedules. All Cancellations and Changes not conforming to this policy are non-refundable, and payment in full for all the reserved dates at check-in will be expected.

Golf carts are welcome but we do not allow Rangers or side by sides Please see the Golf Cart page for rules and additional information.

Our ability to operate any and all amenities and/or activities is contingent on weather, park occupancy, maintenance needs/updates, and other factors. We do not guarantee all amenities will operate 100% of the time. Hours of operation may vary.

There is no need to get a NC fishing license to fish in our ponds. All fishing is catch and release.

Our ponds are made for fishing and viewing. Please do not swim or put any boats in them.

We have 4 Suds Stations at our Camp-Resort that accept quarters. You can get change at the General Store or Registration Station.

Our Camp-Resort is for registered guests and their guests only. We do not offer day passes to use our facilities.

Tabor City has a small downtown with boutique shops and restaurants. Columbus County is known for its great outdoor offerings. You can find out more by visiting the chamber's website.

We have several options for food at our Camp-Resort. The Pic-A-Nic Basket is open in season for pizza, chicken fingers, walking tacos, and more during lunch and dinner. The Campfire Canteen is a snack shack located near the pool selling snow cones and light snacks. It's also open on movie nights to sell popcorn and theater candy. The Creamery at Daddy Joe's is our homemade ice cream shop and coffee bar. It's located at the entrance of the camp-resort and is open to the public.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park™ at Daddy Joe's stores RVs, Trailers, and Golf Carts. The cost is $50.00 per month (prepaid at the first of each month. You can prepay for 12 months and only pay $550.00. When you store with us you must provide registration of vehicle & proof of insurance. We can move your camper from storage to your site and back to storage for $25.00. Please let us know, when you make your reservation, that you would like us to move your camper. If there is less than a 24 hour notice the fee is $50.00.

Important policies before booking at Jellystone Tabor City

  • The guest assumes all risks and danger incidental to the activity of camping in a rustic outdoor environment including specifically (but not exclusively), the danger of being injured by insects, or other animals, of being injured while participating in recreational activities, such as hiking, swimming or boating at the Camp-Resort or of being injured as a result of inclement weather conditions, and agrees that the Camp-Resort and its owners, agents and employees are not liable for injuries or property damages resulting from such causes.   
  • Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park™ is not responsible for any loss of valuables, accidents, or injuries.
  • All guests are required to check in at the Registration Station before setting up on a campsite or moving to another site.
  • All visitors are required to check in at the Registration Station before entering the campground. Extra fees may apply.
  • Each site fee is for a family of six. Extra persons, fees apply.
  • Parking on a campsite is limited to one camping unit and two vehicles per site. (One small tent is allowed). All vehicles must be parked on a campsite concrete slab, not on grass or in campground road. An overflow parking lot is available. Extra vehicles must be registered at the Registration Station. Extra fees may apply.
  • You must be 21 years of age or older to rent a campsite, rental, or golf cart.
  • Check in is 2 PM for RV & Tent sites and 3 PM for all rental units (cabins and yurts).
  • Check out is 12 PM for RV & Tent sites and 11 AM for all rental units (cabins and yurts).
  • We love pets at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park™ and have a few policies to make camping with your pet enjoyable for all: Pets must be kept on leashes and under control of the owner. They are not to be left unattended at any time. We ask that you clean up after your pet (doggie stations are available in several areas throughout the campground). In consideration of our other guests, we will not allow constant barking. If you are unable to control your pets, you may be asked to make other arrangements for them.
  • Yurts are pet friendly; however, we do not allow pets in or around all other rental units. Pets are not allowed in any buildings or pool areas. 
  • For your safety we do not allow fireworks.
  • Quiet hours are from 11 PM to 8 AM. 
  • Smoking or vaping is not allowed inside any rental units, restrooms, pool areas or other common area buildings.
  • Please do not ride golf carts or bikes after dark unless they are equipped with headlights and taillights.
  • The speed limit for our park is 5 1/2 MPH.
  • We allow electric scooters, mopeds, eBikes, hoverboards, electric skateboards, and Segways. Each of these must be single rider only. We do not allow seat attachments on hoverboards; you must be standing. When riding at night you must have lights in the front and the back. Riders must obey all street signs and the posted speed limit. This includes stopping at all stop signs. We encourage all riders to wear proper gear such as helmets.
  • Drones and remote-controlled aircraft are not allowed in the campground.
  • We ask that you keep your music to a respectful volume. Your music should not be heard at another campsite. The same policy applies to playing music on your golf cart. Please keep the volume low
  • We welcome your electric vehicle at our Camp-Resort. There will be a $10.00 fee per day to charge your EV. Please let the Registration Station know the number of days you will be charging your vehicle. If this changes at any point, we can adjust.
  • Washing of your RV or vehicle is not allowed.
  • Swimming is not allowed in our ponds.
  • All children 12 & younger must be supervised by a responsible adult at the pools.
  • Boats, kayaks & canoes are not allowed in our ponds.
  • Flags on golf carts must not impede the vision of the driver.
  • We do not allow pools of any size or slip n slides (or other water features with a constant flow of water) on sites.
  • All fishing is Catch & Release ONLY.
  • Alcoholic beverages are restricted to your site. We will not allow public intoxication in the camp-resort. Loud, inappropriate, and vulgar language will not be tolerated.
  • The use, possession, or distribution of illegal drugs on the campground property will not be tolerated.
  • Campfires are permitted in grills or fire rings only.
  • Please do not walk or drive across any site that is not yours.
  • Please do not move tables, cut trees, or trash sites.
  • Please help keep our resort clean by not putting your trash out overnight. All trash must be bagged and placed curbside by 12 noon daily. We will only pick up household trash. All other items left at your site (tires, tents, etc.) may result in a charge.
